The scenic drives on the Isle of Lewis & Isle of Harris certainly take some beating!
If you're lucky enough to have two drivers, we recommend that you take it in turns so you can both enjoy some time looking out of the window! The roads twist and turn their way through mountains and glens, often with breathtaking seascapes on both sides, and inland lochs dotted about in between.
You'll struggle to decide where to look first, and you probably won't stop saying "wow"! The road from the south of the Isle of Lewis to the south of the Isle of Harris is one of the very best, but there are plenty of others to choose from. Even the views on a drive to the supermarket will take your breath away!
One absolutely incredible drive is the ‘Golden Road’ - a scenic drive on the north-east coast. Challenging single-track road with passing places and lots of bends, but very beautiful!
Why not try touring the Outer Hebrides with an electric vehicle? It's easier than you might think, and it's a wonderful way to see these islands in an environmentally-conscious way.
